Hello,

I adore your character design. Hmn, adore, adore, adore!
But that's a really boring post, so I thought I'd register AND post something here -
I can't stand social media, but I love forums, aha, I know...

A lot of my design ideas come from old weird fiction that you'd find in moldering parts of the library that smelled a little suspect. That - and late night runs into Quake, which I maintain has the best atmosphere of the boomershooters.

So - a lovely mix of nightmare militaria, crystalline spires decaying into limestone towers floating above desolate landscapes, chitinous monsters with huge hearts who are actually the good guys, a polite misanthropy (towards humanity only) and also I've probably fallen in love with all robots, don't tell anyone...

This probably won't mean anything to anyone. If you read this, you a cutie...

Woah, hello there, cutie! (If you want to be called a cutie.) 
I can hardly call such a short paragraph worldbuilding; I've got novels worth of it, and all sorts of ideas rattling around inside my head. I wouldn't mind discussing some of them, the ones I never plan to work with on my own, but -

Mostly, I was posting here because I liked it a lot and wanted to lend a bit of support back. I feel it's more personal to talk via a site like this than other forms of communication.

Anyway, there's no rush for anyone here to talk about anything, let alone read what I write.   
But if you're interested, I'd be glad to entertain you for a bit...

When I've got the time, that is. If you're curious, I can put together some worldbuilding with meat on it for you..!

i really like this!! every aspect of it is one i adore... though i am nitpicky about misanthropy, hahaha

Everyone who's kind and patient is cute, it's just a known fact. I'll add a little bit more, then...

One of the things I've been working on for some time is a story about a person who agrees to get placed in suspended animation until a treatment for their vague, unspecified, terminal illness can be found.

They're awoken into a very strange world, one that's been changed by multiple unknowable cosmic events.

Despite the fact that it's been changed so terribly, humanity is gone entirely, and our narrator is the only human left, the various things that have taken over, moved in, or are stopping by are interesting, kind, and open for long chats about nothing in particular.

Sort of an 'end-of-the-world' travelogue, except the world didn't even end.

It's a-okay, thank you for checking in! I'm an internet ghost, and hide from large social media places, so... I was fine with not having any conversations at all. I'm glad my words could find you, and...   
My misanthropy just means sometimes I shake my tiny fist and mumble 'dangit, humanity...'

It's born from care, and my work is always intended to be kind.   
Since I'd much rather create strange and beautiful things (or sexy things, those too) after all!

you have very fun ideas!! the terminally ill human traveling such a changed world sounds so very melancholy...

and yes, dangit humanity is a good vibe of misanthropy! very ghibli, haha
